Level of Difficulty: Advanced

Drawing: I show you how to draw the composition at the beginning of Day 1 workshop replay!

Workspace: I recommend painting on 8"x 10" 300 lb hot press paper or stretching 140 lb prior to the workshop. (Details on how to stretch watercolor paper can be found here.)

Colors I plan to use:

  • Cadmium Lemon Yellow
  • New Gamboge
  • Phthalo Blue
  • Opera Rose
  • Hooker's Green
  • Payne's Gray

I use Winsor & Newton watercolor paints, but you don't have to. You can substitute the colors above for similar colors in your palette. They don't have to be the same colors.

Tools & Materials:

  • Paper for sketching
  • Pencil & eraser
  • Round brushes (I plan to use size: 2,4, 6, 10)
  • Scrap Paper
  • Paper towels
